How do I Manage My Lists?
These are your mailing lists, from here you can import a plain text file NOT binaries i.e. (exe or picture files) you can also automatically get your mailing list from Globel if set up from this one interface. This part of the program is rather busy, but has been put all in one area so you can manage your mailing lists with ease, you will need to spend a little time in this area understanding it's operation, but like anything once you do understand it will be easy to manage, for this reason it has been split into 3 main parts, these are!

1. Globel mailing lists
These are your mailing lists you use with Globel Administrator, this is where Globel collects all your mail subscribers from your Website and manages your mailing list for you, the program works with Globel on the Internet to make life easy to manage all your lists, you will need a registered Globel account to use this facility, but if you do not wish to run to any expense in this area it is not a requirement to have a paid account in order to use the program (after all it is free).

2. Other mailing lists
This is for collecting and inserting other mailing lists you already have collected by using other methods, for instance: you may have collected a mailing list from other applications! and you wish to use them in the Globel mailer, not all mailing lists are the same format and for this reason your free Globel mailer can distinguish between an e-mail address and some other text within a file, for example: you can point the mailer at a html file and it will parse the page and just take out e-mail address within that page.

3. Mailing Campaigns
Mailing campaigns are specific mailshots, the Globel mailer will send mails for a campaign and not a mailing list directly, you create a campaign and combine several mailing lists into it, i.e. you may have people who buy just perfume products on your website, you would want to target these individuals if you had another new perfume product.

Below is a picture of the screen you will do the most work in, to get to this screen click on the tab "mailing lists" at the top of this page.

1. your present mailing lists downloaded from Globel, you update this downloaded mailing list by simply clicking button "4" Update, you must have a paid registered account to use this facility and have it set up correctly within your Globel Administrator Web Interface, these lists are resident on your local machine.

2. Click on this Tab "Globel mailing lists" to access this section!

3. when you click on your Globel mailing list the name of the file will appear here!

4. Update Button: if you have no mailing lists listed in "1" above or you wish to update the present mailing list from Globel just click this button.

5. Transfer Button: this button transfers your selected Globel mailing list subscribers into your present e-mail campaign, this can be one e-mail address to all of them from your Globel mailing list.

6. Delete List: this button deletes your Globel mailing list on your local machine, it does not delete your mailing list on the Internet, there are several new functions reserved for this in version 2 of the mailer but for now it simply deletes your list on your local machine downloaded from the Internet.

7. this is a list of your past and present e-mail campaigns, these campaigns can be specific marketing campaigns to targeted individuals or different campaigns for different lists!

8. here you name the campaign you are working on, you can also insert the present date and time into this title by simply clicking "10" the date button.

9. Delete Champaign: this button deletes any past selected campaigns from your list!

10. The date button to mark your campaigns with a specific time and date as well as a title.

11. Save Campaign: this button allows you to update a campaign you are working on or save a new one!

12. New Campaign: clears any present selection and allows you to start a fresh campaign.

13. This button allows you to remove selected e-mail address's from the campaign you are working on!

14. This is the e-mail list of subscribers in your present selected Globel e-mail list above!

15. This is the e-mail list of subscribers you have transferred from your mailing list into the selected campaign above!

remember to always save your work!
