the Internet?
6. Frequency throttle (Paced Send)?
1. Entering your globel details?
In order to get the program to function correctly you will
need to register it with globel first! This is a simple step
that involves putting in your details that correctly match
your account at globel, both the use of the program and your
account with globel is free, just enter your username and
password in the correct fields and Click register/update this

the program as below. if you have not registered an account
with globel you will need to do this first HERE

2. Entering your SMTP details?
Although the program after registration will allow you to
continue using it, it's a good idea to set up your SMTP details
now so that your mailer can send emails to all your customers
or friends, the SMTP address is usually found in the set-up
of your normal mail client, it is the address of your ISP's
(Internet Service Providers) mail server, the mailer needs
this information to send your emails out to the world as illustrated
above. [Top]
3. What is the database path?
The database path is where globel will store all it's data
files for your program, this can be on a separate drive or
folder, or even if on a network the root path to the server,
always ensure where ever you place the database you follow
with a trailing slash, i.e. the preset for globel is disk
c:\ but if you wanted it on disk d: you would write it d:\,
additionally if it is to be placed in a directory you would
write it c:\directory\ or \\SERVER\ Etc. [Top]
4. Program always on top?
This function is to allow your program to stay on top of all
others on your desktop, just check the box and click Apply!
5. Stop notify every time the program accesses
the Internet?
Some users may require that the program notifies them every
time it accesses the internet, others may not, if you do not
wish to be continually notified when the program accesses
the internet check this box and click apply, otherwise leave
it unchecked. [Top]
6. Frequency throttle (Paced Send)?
This function is so that you do not annoy your ISP dependant
on your ISP arrangements may depend on if he/she gets annoyed
with you keep sending loads of emails through their server,
dependant on the server capabilities this could be looked
at as monopolising their SMTP server!! You set this to anything
between 0 and 60 seconds, you can leave globel sending your
mail in the background whilst you do other work so the usual
on sensitive ISP's would be 2 seconds, but you can set this
parameter to anything you like between each mail send. [Top]
You set up all the defaults of your program here! You will
need to be registered at globel to run this program; you will
also need to put in details such as your SMTP server etc.
